A series of paintings in which the use of colour, symbolism and evocative shapes and feelings express my thoughts about the Easter story. In 'Crucifixion', the pervading sense of desolation adds to the horror of the stark hammer and nail shapes of the crosses, and is an indication of the further sufferings of Jesus when He felt abandoned by God (Mark 15 v. 33-34).
